Productinformation
Ashwood dibber of 85 cm
A dibber is a pointed wooden stick for making holes in the ground so that seeds, seedlings, or small bulbs can be planted. Due to the length of 85 cm, the dibber allows you to work standing up. Therefore it requires little effort to create the holes and you can work super fast. Planting out your seedlings has never been so easy!
This dibber is especially suitable to create planting holes for seedlings grown in the 77 high and low, CD60, CD30, CD15, 40 high and low, and 28 low trays. For plants grown in the 15L tray, we recommend a bulb planter because the size of the rootball fits perfectly in holes created with the bulb planter. We often use a trowel for plants grown in the high 28-cell seed tray.
Specifications
Handle with a pierced hilt
Length: 85 cm
Thickness: 2,2 to 4 cm from point to top
Handle: 11,5 cm
Even with smaller hands, the handle is easy to hold and the dibber is comfortable to work with. We use it for almost every seedling we transplant into the garden beds. The only downside is the natural colors. We (mainly Nicole) are not the tidiest gardeners and often have tools laying around. We have woodchip pathways between the beds and the colors are very alike.
