Flower bulbs planting basket – Ø 22 cm pack of 3
Flower bulbs planting basket, 22 cm
Is useful for digging up flower bulbs or keeping them together. Especially for naturalizing flower bulbs that tend to spread a bit too fast. At the end of spring, the flowers are spent but you have to leave the wilting foliage on. It doesn’t always look great when you grow them on a spot where you can see them, or when you have planted them in pots. If you grow them in a basket you simply take the basket out and let the plants die back and store food in their bulbs in a spot where you don’t see them. When autumn comes you pot the basket with bulbs and soil back in your pots and you are ready for a new spring season! When you see new growth in spring you can add plant food for flower bulbs to feed the bulbs to store food for the next season.
When you have voles living (and eating bulbs) in your garden planting bulbs in a basked might also work.
