Horticultural fleece 2 by 5 meters – Plant protection
Productinformation
Horticultural fleece is designed to protect plants
Not all plants are hardy. Some can take minus 15°C (59°F) were others can’t take anything below 1°C (33.8°F).
To help those plants that can’t take any cold we use fleece. The fibers create a protective layer that not only keeps the cold out but also keeps the warmth in.
Once the sun is out it quickly heats up the small gap where your plants sit.
Fleece also protects your small seedlings from harsh winds and any insects or wildlife.
Watering can be done as usual as the fleece does let water through without any issue.
Next to the protection it also improves growth by creating a microclimate for your seedlings.
Protect your plants against wind, hail, frost, and damaging insects or wildlife with a thin fleece layer.
How to use fleece?
The best way to use fleece is right above your crops. Keeping the fleece of the leaves without creating a big air gap.
You can imagine the more air, the more it needs to keep warm. Leaving fleece on top of your plants will result in frozen leaves so try to avoid direct contact.
