Hedgehog natural shelter
Hedgehogs are insectivores, but in practice, a hedgehog is an omnivore. In addition to earthworms, beetles, snails, and spiders, hedgehogs eat bird carcasses and, if they get the chance, young mice. Fruit and soft seeds are also eaten. Hedgehogs live mainly in bushes, in overgrown gardens and parks, but also near wooded banks and unmown ditches. Once you have seen a hedgehog in your garden, you are likely to see it more often.
