Productinformation
Sage (Salvia officinalis)
Sage is an herb that is especially used in Mediterranean cuisine. The plant grows 40-80 cm tall and the leaves are thick, grey, and strongly aromatic. Just like rosemary, sage is also wintergreen, making them great ornamental plants! Combine plants in pots with other herbs like basil and mint and create your own aromatic ‘herb kitchen garden’.
You get the best germination rate if you can keep the temperature around 15-20℃. Germination takes up to 21 days. Prune back around 1/3th of the “old wood” just before new growth occurs in mid-spring.
