Productinformation

Tropaeolum Salmon baby flower seeds, also known as Nasturtium
Beautiful dark foliage Tropaeolum with salmon rose flowers. This is a non-ranking variety making it a fantastic plant to grow in pots around your house, balcony, or as a sacrificial plant in our veg patch! The insects will love this plant more than other plants in your garden. It works like a magnet. As soon as you see infested parts you cut away those leaves and the plant will continue to grow. Flowers and leaves are edible but this salmon rose variety is more selected as an ornamental plant.  The flowers also attract a lot of butterflies and bees. A beautiful plant with so many benefits is definitely worth saving some space for in your garden! We hope you will like this salmon rose Tropaeolum as much as we do! Is salmon not your color? Try the Tropaeolum ladybird rose!

How can I grow Tropaeolum Salmon or Nasturtium plants from seed?
Tropaeolum or nasturtium is super easy to grow. Sow seeds in your greenhouse or under cover in the spring and plant out seedlings after the frost. You can also direct sow the seeds but we never direct sow seeds except for carrots. So we can not really share our experience with direct sowing other than that the rabbits love to eat all our seedlings before we even see them.
Foliage and flowers can be used as shorter type cut flowers or bouquet fillers. The plants are also great for pots or raised beds!
