Leeks – Blue-green winter seeds
With your very own vegetable garden, you’ll never need to buy leeks again. Leeks are incredibly easy to grow, and they can be harvested almost year-round, making them a perfect choice for colder European climates. This winter leek can be harvested from November and can be left in the ground for harvesting until late February. If you haven’t finished harvesting them by then, you can leave them in the ground until spring arrives and the plants start producing flowers.

Characteristics of this leek

• Long white shafts of 18-20cm with blue-green foliage
• Very winterhardy variety to leave in the ground over winter
• Combine this winter leek with the autumn leek for a continued harvest

Sowing and harvesting advise

• Sowing the seeds from March until May
• Expected harvest time from November until February!
