But, if you’re starting your seedlings indoors, remember to give them a little tough love with some hardening off before they can continue to grow in your garden.

If you like to optimize the condition for your seedlings you can consider adding a transparent lid on top to create a small greenhouse (also known as a propagator). And if you like to speed up germination you can combine the seed tray and propagator with a heat mat. Everything is designed or selected to fit together.
