Growing Chinese Forget-Me-Not from Seeds

Start seeds indoors in spring or direct sow them outdoors after the frost has passed. Seeds germinate within a week if the soil is kept at around 15-20℃. We had beautiful flowers in late summer from seeds sown in May. For continuous blooms, start some plants in March and some in May to enjoy flowers all summer long.

The tiny pink flowers are great for adding to a dahlia or other large flower bouquets. Pick the Chinese forget-me-nots when the first flowers on the stems open. After harvesting, condition them in a bucket of water for a few hours to prevent wilting.
