Utilizing a heating mat can speed up germination, with the first seedlings typically emerging within two to three weeks.

After germination, move the seedlings to a cooler place to prevent them from becoming long and thin. Before planting the seedlings outdoors, it's crucial to harden them off by gradually exposing them to outdoor conditions. Once the seedlings are robust, plant them in the garden at a distance of 30 to 40 cm apart.
