Mulching Cover Film – 1,4 x 5,0 m
UV-resistant black mulching cover film of 1,40 by 5,00 meter
In the garden, you can use cover film for multiple things. First of all, you can plant crops in a bed with mulching cover film. It helps suppress weeds and retain moisture in the soil. The film excludes light from the open soil and stops weeds from growing. Water in the soil can not evaporate and stays in the soil. The technique also works great inside your greenhouse in combination with drip irrigation lines and cover the film with straw or woodchips in summer. If you like to grow strawberries a mulch cover film will keep your ready-to-eat strawberries clean. When the strawberries are not in contact with the soil you can usually store them longer.
Another great way to use the film is to kill weeds. If you want to add more beds to your garden but the ground is full of hardy perennial weeds you can use cover the soil for a while. The film excludes light and the perennial weeds die due to lack of energy. The land we use was full of weeds and we used the cover film in our garden a lot as you can see in the pictures.
