Pireco Blight herbal concentrate to prevent Phytophthora infestans on potato and tomato leaves

Tomatoes and potatoes are two of the most widely grown and cherished vegetables. Regrettably, they can become infected with Phytophthora infestans, also known as potato or tomato blight. This pathogen flourishes in cool, damp, and humid conditions. It generates sporangia and zoospores, which play an important role in the rapid spread of the disease. The spores can move through water films on leaves and soil, facilitating the infection’s spread.

How to use:
Pireco Blight herbal concentrate can be used in your vegetable garden on potato and tomato plants by spraying it over the plants. You can still consume the potatoes and tomatoes after using this product. Remember to shake it before use.

For Potatoes: Spray the leaves when the plant is about 20 cm tall after it has sprouted. Repeat this every two weeks until the leaves start to die off. In hot and humid weather or when there’s a high disease risk, spray more frequently.

For Tomatoes: After planting and when the tomato plant reaches about 20 cm in height, spray the leaves. Repeat this every two weeks until the end of the season. If there’s a high risk of disease, spray more often. Trimming the lower leaves of your tomato plants can be beneficial. By doing so, you reduce the risk of splashing water and soil reaching the tomato leaves, which can help prevent Phytophthora infection.
