This variety does not grow well in waterlogged or heavy soil. However, this issue can be resolved with proper soil improvement or by growing in raised beds.

Multisowing onions in clumps of 3 to 5 seeds is a great hack to grow more without taking up extra space in your garden. Simply harvest one clump at a time or twist and pull individual onions as needed. For best results, harvest the biggest onion bulb first and let the others grow bigger.
