A heat mat to start your seeds is a great addition to your growing collection. Especially if you like to grow in your greenhouse in the early spring or late autumn.
Most seeds we sow early to extend our growing season like to germinate at a bit warmer temperatures. You will see a great difference in germination speed and germination rate. Beetroot for example can take up to 10 days to germinate rate, but only 4 days with additional heat.
