Water retaining mat to keep pots and trays moist
If you are planning a weekend trip, short holiday, or if your greenhouse is not next to your house it might be handy to use a water-retaining mat.
Our greenhouse is unfortunately not next to our house and we are not always able to keep an eye on our seedlings and plants. Especially in spring, the temperature in the greenhouse can go up and soil can dry out more easily. You can also use the water retaining mat for seedlings that can not handle watering from above.
